A Scholar and Practitioner

Lakshya’s journey as a teacher began with her first yoga teacher training with Sivananda in 2010. Her thirst for knowledge led her to study Vedanta and Sanskrit with her Guru, Swami Dayananda Saraswatiji, for three years at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Coimbatore. This profound education is a cornerstone of her practice, and she continues to deepen her knowledge by attending yoga and Vedanta courses annually as part of her sadhana.

Lakshya’s influence extends globally. She has taught at prestigious events like the Barcelona Yoga Conference and the Vedic Wisdom Festival in Mumbai. Her teachings have also reached a broader audience through her Yoga series on Tata Sky TV, where she shares her insights and practices with viewers across India.

A Life of Cultural Immersion

Of Dutch-Indonesian origin, Lakshya’s life has been enriched by diverse cultures. Growing up around the world and living in India for 12 years allowed her to soak up the culture and traditional knowledge deeply. Since 2004, Dubai has been her home, where she continues to inspire and guide her students.
